Background:

Founded in 2011 by Amy Dhatt-Dherari (PT), she felt there to be a growing need for physiotherapists providing care that was solely patient centred. She became disillusioned when forced to see three to four patients simultaneously within an hour, and not providing the one on one care that patient deserved. Further, she found there to be a lack of services provided to the elderly in the community. In particular, she saw this first hand when her grandmother did not receive the proper physiotherapy needs she required to return home post hospital stay. These were the motivating factors that inspired her to fill the void in our healthcare system and to develop PhysiGOtherapy (PhysiGO).

With a growing list of clients and demand through patient referrals, Amy expanded the business while maintaining the highest quality of care.  Currently, PhysiGO employs 3 rehab assistants and 3 Kinesiologists, &   3PT's serving in a variety of settings such as eldercare homes, in-home mobile sessions, office, gym, pool, and on-field clinics.  PhysiGO is dedicated to providing the best quality care available to our community, with a flexible approach to fit the needs of our clients. We are a dynamic group that is motivated to carry out our practice through an evidence-based approach.

By abiding by rules set forth by our governing bodies, PhysiGO has set forth core values:

  1. We value each individual and their concerns and treat them with utmost integrity and honour.
  2. We do not discriminate against any individual or groups on the basis of race, gender, or religion.
  3. We are committed to delivering excellence to our consumers
  4. We aspire to help individuals become mobile and sustaining such mobility, prevention of future injuries, and providing lifelong education.

And so, our motto was born: Inspire. Educate. Rehabilitate

PhysiGO’s Experience:

Our teams experience for physiotherapy is a combined 22 years of experience.  In the last two years we have focused on both private homecare, on field/sport specific training, & eldercare homes. PhysiGO has successfully carried an active caseload of 35 residents for eldercare and 15-20 private clients per week.

How We Differ:

Being a small company allows us to deliver the highest quality of service to our clients first hand as both the business owners and service providers. This allows for effective, efficient, and productive communication both within our organization and between our clientele. Due to the fact that PhysiGO has low overhead and minimal administrative costs this leads to operational efficiencies that allows PhysiGO to offer the most competitive rates in the industry.
